Applications from your designers from 52 countries were submitted into the ninth year of the competition. The absolute winner was Markéta Nováková with her Lunt scooter in the Product design category. Let's recall this prestigious year.
Best in Design 2017
A Talent was not enough anymore - 8th year of a contest for young designers was renamed to Best in Design last year. 726 works of designers from all over the world tried to amaze a jury. The winner was Lukáš Krnáč, a student of a fashion design, who presented his collection SUNDAY that reffered to an absurd tradition from his childhood.
Design Talent 2016
The seventh year of Design Talent 2016 registered a total of 1,320 submissions. Number of applications compared to the previous year has doubled, reflecting the popularity of the contest at home and abroad. Competing designs come not only all the way from Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Slovakia, but also from Singapore, South Korea, Iran, USA, India and Brazil. The gala and award ceremony Design Talent 2016 took place on the April 29th at the Congress Center in Zlin. Now, however, we are looking for the best of the best with the new name - Best in Design!
Design Talent 2014
The sixth annual Talent Design 2014 competition had received 633 applications. The contest manages to follow the increasing trend of the number of entries each year. Competition submissions travelled to us from Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Poland, Slovakia but also from distant India or Brazil. The gala evening and the award ceremony Design Talent 2014 took place April 24th at the Congress Centre in Zlín.
Design Talent 2013
The fifth year of the competition has attracted more than 504 works mainly from the Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, but also from Austria, Germany, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania, Turkey and other countries. The official announcement of winners of Design Talent 2013 took place on May 5, 2014 in the Congress Centre in Zlin.
Design Talent 2012
320 works from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Denmark, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Estonia, Poland, India and other countries were competing for the Design Talent 2012 title. The winner of the fourth annual was announced in the Congress Centre in Zlin, on May 13.
Design Talent 2011
More than 270 works from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Italy, Estonia, Spain, Mexico other countries were competing for the Design Talent 2011 title. The winners of the third annual were announced in the Congress Centre in Zlin, on February 16.
Design Talent 2010
More than 110 works mainly from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, but also from Lithuania and Italy were competing for the Design Talent 2010 title. The winners of Design Talent 2010 were announced in the foyer of the rector’s office in Zlin, on February 22.
Design Talent 2009
76 works from the Czech Republic were competing for the Design Talent 2009 title. The ceremony took place in the cultural center Alternativa in Zlin, on January 19.
